Slice-of-Life Sketchbook

Starting in summer 2025, I used this sketchbook to play with watercolor and ink, focusing especially on storytelling and portraits of everyday life. I experimented with different types of watercolor paint (lesson: cheap watercolors are a nightmare), tried out more or less scribbly sketching (lesson: some scribbles are fun, but too many are distracting), combined words with text in different ways, and finally ended up creating stylized comics I feel confident making.
